     Rajib Gandhi was the youngest prime minister of India at the age of 40. After his mother assassination the congress party won the largest Lok Sabha majority to date, 411 seats out of 542.

Rajib Gandhi was born 20th aug. 1944 in Gandhi family. He was elder son of Prime Minister Indera Gandhi and also grand son of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

His Father’s name is Feroze Jahangir Gandhi who was an Indian freedom fighter, Plitician, Jurnalist. He was admited to the welham Boy’s School, Dehradun.He was send to Landan in 1961 to study. In 1970 he was employed as a Pilot by Indian Airlines, unlike sanjay, he did not exhibit any interest to join in politics. In 1968 he married Soniya Gandhi.
